Oyster Perpetual Air-King
THE SKY IS THE LIMIT
The Oyster Perpetual Air-King celebrates the aeronautical heritage of the original Oyster. It pays tribute to those for whom the sky was a new frontier of adventure, exploration and groundbreaking achievement – a springboard for new ideals.

The Air-King symbolizes the privileged relationship between Rolex and flying during the golden age of aviation in the 1930s. It pays tribute to the pilots of the era and the Oyster’s role in their epic story. The 1930s was a period of spectacular progress in aircraft performance and led to the introduction of long-distance flights. Several pilots set records while wearing an Oyster. Others used a Rolex watch as an on-board chronometer, such as Owen Cathcart-Jones and Ken Waller, who, in 1934, made a return voyage from London (United Kingdom) to Melbourne (Australia) in record time with a twin-engine De Havilland Comet.

UNIQUE AESTHETICS
The current Air-King sports a distinctive black dial with a combination of large 3, 6 and 9 numerals marking the hours and a prominent minutes scale for optimal navigational time readings. Rolex’s symbolic crown is displayed in yellow on the dial, while the seconds hand and the name “Rolex” are green, echoing the brand’s emblematic colour. Since the watch was launched in 1958, the inscription “Air-King” has featured in lettering that makes the model easily identifiable.

From 2022, the Air-King’s 40 mm case includes a crown guard and has straight sides like the majority of Professional category models. The watch’s display has also been refreshed and is perfectly balanced thanks to the addition of a “0” before the “5” on the minutes scale. Each five-minute interval is, therefore, now marked by two digits. The 3, 6 and 9 numerals are also now visible in the dark thanks to the luminescent material of the Chromalight display.

RELIABILITY AND PERFORMANCE
A paragon of robustness and reliability, the Air-King’s Oyster case is guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet). The middle case is crafted from a solid block of Oystersteel, a particularly corrosion-resistant alloy.
The Air-King is fitted on a three-piece link Oyster bracelet in Oystersteel. This bracelet is equipped with an Oysterlock safety clasp, designed and patented by Rolex, which prevents accidental opening. It is also fitted with the Easylink comfort extension link, which allows the wearer to adjust the bracelet length easily, by approximately 5 mm.

Powering the Air-King is calibre 3230, a self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. It offers outstanding performance in terms of precision, power reserve, resistance to shocks, convenience and reliability. This movement is fitted with the exclusive blue Parachrom hairspring and also incorporates the patented Chronergy escapement. Its power reserve extends to approximately 70 hours.

SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER CERTIFICATION
Like all Rolex watches, the Air-King is covered by the Superlative Chronometer certification. This designation testifies that every watch leaving the brand’s workshops has successfully undergone a series of tests conducted by Rolex in its own laboratories, according to its own criteria. The Superlative Chronometer status is symbolized by the green seal that comes with every Rolex watch and is coupled with an international five-year guarantee.

Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona
BORN TO RACE
The Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona is an icon forever joined in name and function to the world of motor sport. Six decades after its creation it remains in a class of its own among sport chronographs.

An iconic model introduced in 1963, the Cosmograph Daytona was designed to meet the needs of motor racing professionals. Fitted with a tachymetric bezel and a high-performance mechanical movement, this now legendary chronograph is the instrument of choice for measuring time intervals or determining average speeds.

SYNONYMOUS WITH SPEED
On the Cosmograph Daytona, the elapsed hours and minutes are shown on the counters at 9 and 3 o’clock respectively, and the elapsed seconds are read using the arrow-tipped centre hand and the 60-second scale around the dial.
The Cosmograph Daytona’s bezel, in metal or high-tech ceramic, functions as a tachymeter. Its scale can be used to read an average speed over a given distance, based on elapsed time. This makes it the ideal instrument for measuring speeds up to 400 units per hour, expressed in kilometres, miles, or any other unit of measure.

A CHRONOGRAPH MADE FOR THE RACE CIRCUIT
The Cosmograph Daytona is equipped with calibre 4130, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex, offering a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. This movement incorporates a chronograph function with a reduced number of components, thereby further enhancing its reliability. The chronograph is engaged by a mechanism with a column wheel and vertical clutch. This enables an instantaneous and extremely precise start to the timing.

SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER CERTIFICATION
Like all Rolex watches, the Cosmograph Daytona is covered by the Superlative Chronometer certification.

THE PLACE, THE LEGEND
The Cosmograph Daytona is inextricably linked to the world of motor racing. The watch pays tribute to a place – Daytona Beach, Florida – where passion for speed and racing flourished in the early 20th century. From 1903 to 1935, the hard-packed sand beach in Daytona became famous as the perfect place to beat speed records. No fewer than 80 official records were set there, 14 of which were for the fastest speed in the world.

The Daytona International Speedway® opened in 1959, and Rolex has been the Official Timepiece of the circuit ever since. A few years later, to emphasize the brand’s connection to the American racetrack, Rolex gave its new model the name Cosmograph Daytona.
Over the decades, the brand’s presence in high-octane racing has grown steadily, its support extending to the leading drivers and events worldwide. For much of this historic journey, the Cosmograph Daytona has embodied the privileged bonds between Rolex and motor sport.

Oyster Perpetual
ESSENCE OF THE OYSTER
Watches in the Oyster Perpetual range are symbols of universal and classic style, while offering essential day-to-day functions – hours, minutes and seconds. Firmly rooted in the pioneering origins of Rolex, these models embody timeless form and function. They represent timepieces in their purest form.

Oyster Perpetual watches are direct descendants of the original Oyster launched in 1926, the world’s first waterproof wristwatch and the foundation on which Rolex has built its reputation. A certified Superlative Chronometer, the Oyster Perpetual features all the key characteristics of the Oyster Perpetual collection – excellent chronometric precision, the waterproof Oyster case, and a mechanical self-winding movement via Perpetual rotor. Understated and elegant, this timepiece is known for its universal, classic style.

DYNAMIC AND TIMELESS
The Oyster Perpetual provides a clear and accurate time display – hours, minutes and seconds. The different versions of the watch stand out with dials in subtle or vibrant colours, whether it is a sophisticated silver, bright blue or bright black dial in a sunray finish, or an eye-catching candy pink, turquoise blue or green lacquer dial. The Oyster Perpetual comes in five sizes – 28, 31, 34, 36 and 41 mm – providing the largest choice of diameters for a Rolex range.

The models are paired with a three-piece link Oyster bracelet, which is secure and comfortable. It is equipped with a folding Oysterclasp and the Easylink comfort extension link, developed by Rolex, that enables the wearer to adjust the bracelet length by approximately 5 mm.
The Oyster Perpetual is made exclusively of Oystersteel. Specially developed for Rolex, Oystersteel belongs to the 904L steel family – alloys that are most commonly used in high technology. Oystersteel is extremely resistant to corrosion, offers an exceptional finish once polished and maintains its sheen over time.

RELIABILITY AND PRECISION
The Oyster Perpetual’s case is guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet). Its middle case is crafted from a solid block of Oystersteel. The case back, edged with fine fluting, is hermetically screwed down with a special tool that grants only certified Rolex watchmakers access to the movement. Another core component in the watertight structure is the Twinlock winding crown that is fitted with a double waterproofness system and screws down securely against the case.

Depending on its size, the Oyster Perpetual is equipped with either calibre 2232 (for models in 28, 31 and 34 mm) or calibre 3230 (for models in 36 and 41 mm), self-winding mechanical movements entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. They offer outstanding performance in terms of precision, power reserve, resistance to shocks, convenience and reliability.

SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER CERTIFICATION
Like all Rolex watches, the Oyster Perpetual is covered by the Superlative Chronometer certification.

Oyster Perpetual Explorer
VENTURING TO THE OUTER LIMITS
The Oyster Perpetual Explorer and Oyster Perpetual Explorer II evolved from Rolex’s deep involvement with exploration. They go where few people venture. The brand was able to test these watches in real life by equipping polar, mountaineering and caving expeditions over many years. Some of the world’s most intrepid explorers, mountaineers and scientists took these watches to places that tested their reliability in the toughest conditions.

From the 1930s, Rolex began to equip numerous expeditions with Oyster Perpetual watches. The feedback received was used to develop what became known as the Professional category: watches that serve as tools, such as the Explorer and Explorer II. Rolex watches have taken part in some of humanity’s greatest adventures. One such occasion was the 1953 expedition to Everest, led by Sir John Hunt, on which Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay become the first to summit the world’s highest mountain.

DESIGNED FOR EXPLORATION
The Explorer, launched in 1953, sets itself apart with a simple design and a highly legible black dial with large hour markers and characteristic 3, 6 and 9 numerals. It is a tool watch, created to tell time accurately, whatever the circumstances. Even in the dark, the dial is easy to read, thanks to the Chromalight display. Today, the Explorer is available in the same 36 mm size as the original model.
The Explorer II was introduced in 1971 and, in the same spirit as the Explorer, perpetuates the privileged relationship Rolex enjoys with exploration. Thanks to its 24-hour display comprising an additional, orange hour hand and an engraved bezel, the Explorer II allows the wearer to clearly distinguish daytime from night-time hours – a practical option in places where distinguishing day from night is difficult, such as at the poles at certain times of the year, and in caves – or to read the time in a second time zone.

RESISTING THE EXTREMES
Watches in the Explorer range have constantly evolved to meet explorers’ needs, each time becoming more robust and reliable. The Explorer is available in Oystersteel or in a yellow Rolesor version (combining Oystersteel and yellow gold), and the Explorer II is made exclusively in Oystersteel. Specially developed for Rolex, Oystersteel is a unique alloy with excellent anti-corrosion properties.

Both models are fitted with an Oyster bracelet, a three-piece link bracelet known for its robustness. Featuring the Rolex-designed and patented Oysterlock folding safety clasp, which prevents accidental opening, it is also equipped with the Easylink comfort extension link; developed by the brand, this allows the wearer to easily adjust the bracelet length by approximately 5 mm.
The Explorer is equipped with calibre 3230 while the Explorer II features calibre 3285. Both are self-winding mechanical movements entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. They offer a power reserve of about 70 hours.

SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER CERTIFICATION
Like all Rolex watches, the Explorer and Explorer II are covered by the Superlative Chronometer certification. This designation testifies that every watch leaving the brand’s workshops has successfully undergone a series of tests conducted by Rolex in its own laboratories, according to its own crite¬ria. The Superlative Chronometer status is symbolized by the green seal that comes with every Rolex watch and is coupled with an international five-year guarantee.

The lady-datejust
THE AUDACITY OF EXCELLENCE
THE LADY-DATEJUST
"A classic timepiece, designed for a lady". This is how some may describe the Oyster Perpetual Lady-Datejust. Maybe they’re right. Since the early 20th century, Rolex has designed and crafted watches suited for the wrists of every woman, with the same standard of excellence as all the models that have built its legend. So, if "classic" means always pursuing a higher standard, if it means perpetuating tradition while combining elegance with precision, grace with resistance, beauty with performance… then the Lady-Datejust is, indeed, a classic timepiece designed for a lady.
A KEYSTONE IN
THE HISTORY OF ROLEX.
Pioneering women have always been a keystone in the history of Rolex.
Since the earliest days of the brand, they have inspired the creation and development of special timepieces that would support their quest for empowerment. The Lady-Datejust is a celebration of those who dare to lead the way. It embodies precision while combining classic elegance and technical performance.

"A CLASSIC TIMEPIECE, DESIGNED FOR A LADY."
THIS IS HOW SOME MAY DESCRIBE THE OYSTER PERPETUAL LADY-DATEJUST.

HEIR TO THE DATEJUST
Unveiled in 1957, the Lady-Datejust concentrates all the attributes of the Datejust, the emblematic Rolex watch that has been a byword for style and technical performance ever since its launch in 1945. The women’s version of this date chronometer, the Lady-Datejust carries the elegance of the Datejust in a smaller size perfectly suited to a slender wrist.

A WEALTH OF VERSIONS
Sunray-finish dials, paved with diamonds or crafted from mother-of-pearl – the Lady-Datejust offers so many choices that wearers can easily find one to reflect their personality. Depending on the version, the Lady-Datejust is available with a domed, fluted or diamond-set bezel.

EXCLUSIVE MATERIALS
The Lady-Datejust is available in Oystersteel, in 18 ct yellow, white or Everose gold, or in Rolesor versions that combine Oystersteel and one of three varieties of gold (white, yellow and Everose).

28 MM OYSTER CASE
The Lady-Datejust’s 28 mm Oyster case is a perfect blend of proportion, robustness and elegance. The distinctively shaped middle case is crafted from a solid block of highly corrosion-resistant Oystersteel or 18 ct gold. It is guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet).

ICONIC BRACELETS
Depending on the version, the Lady-Datejust is available on a three-piece link Oyster bracelet with a folding Oysterclasp; on a five-piece link Jubilee bracelet – created in 1945 especially for the Datejust – with a Crownclasp; or on a three-piece link President bracelet with a Crownclasp. A concealed attachment system ensures seamless visual continuity between the bracelet and case.

PERPETUAL CALIBRE 2236
The Lady-Datejust is equipped with calibre 2236, a self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. Its architecture makes it exceptionally precise and reliable. Calibre 2236 is fitted with a Syloxi hairspring in silicon, patented and manufactured by Rolex. Resistant to magnetic fields, the Syloxi hairspring provides great stability in the face of temperature variations and remains up to 10 times more precise than a traditional hairspring in case of shocks. Its patented geometry ensures its regularity in any position.

SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER
Like all Rolex watches, the Lady-Datejust is covered by the Superlative Chronometer certification. This designation testifies that every watch leaving the brand’s workshops has successfully undergone a series of tests conducted by Rolex in its own laboratories according to its own criteria. The Superlative Chronometer status is symbolized by the green seal that comes with every Rolex watch and is coupled with an international five-year guarantee.

Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II
THE COSMOPOLITAN WATCH
The Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II is designed to display the time in two different time zones simultaneously. Robust and functional, it is the ideal watch for criss-crossing the globe.

Launched in 1955, the GMT-Master witnessed the rapid expansion of intercontinental travel in the latter half of the 20th century. It even became the official watch of Pan American World Airways, the most prominent American international airline at the time. The GMT-Master, a true “tool watch”, evolved continually, to offer increasing technical performance. In 1982, Rolex introduced a new movement that allowed the hour hand to be set independently of the other hands. To clearly mark this evolution, the model fitted with the optimized movement was named the GMT-Master II.

ONE INSTRUMENT, SEVERAL TIME ZONES
The GMT-Master II has an instantly recognizable design with a graduated bezel insert, which is available in various dual-colour combinations – the lower half symbolizing daytime and the upper signalling night-time.

With traditional hour, minute and seconds hands, its triangle-tipped 24-hour hand and bidirectional rotatable bezel with a 24-hour graduated Cerachrom insert, the GMT-Master II can display the time in two time zones simultaneously: either the local time and the reference time, or the local time and that of an alternative time zone.

The latest GMT-Master II is equipped with calibre 3285, a self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. A consummate demonstration of technology, it offers outstanding performance in terms of precision, power reserve, resistance to shocks, convenience and reliability. It is fitted with the exclusive blue Parachrom hairspring and also incorporates the patented Chronergy escapement. The movement’s power reserve extends to approximately 70 hours.

HIGH-TECHNOLOGY CERAMIC
The Cerachrom bezel insert is manufactured in a single piece by Rolex from extremely hard ceramic. This high-tech material is virtually scratchproof and keeps its vibrant colours over time.
Rolex broke new ground in 2013 when it introduced its first two-colour, single-piece ceramic bezel insert – blue on one half and black on the other. One year later, the brand released the two-colour Cerachrom insert in red and blue – the GMT-Master’s original colours. It carried out pioneering research to develop a red ceramic corresponding to its aesthetic and quality criteria.

In 2022, Rolex unveiled a novel version of the GMT-Master II. On this watch, the crown and crown guard are on the left side of the case. The date aperture and the Cyclops lens have also moved and appear at 9 o’clock. Made from Oystersteel, this watch features a two-colour monobloc Cerachrom bezel insert in green and black ceramic – a colour pairing never before seen on the model.

SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER CERTIFICATION
Like all Rolex watches, the GMT-Master II is covered by the Superlative Chronometer certification.

Oyster Perpetual Day-Date
THE REALIZATION OF AN IDEAL
When midnight strikes, the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date forms a bridge between past and future, between what has been achieved and what remains to be lived. Since 1956, it has borne witness to the greatest moments in history on the wrist of visionaries, virtuosos and pioneers. Those who make each day a promise for the future.

At its launch in 1956, the Day-Date was a major innovation: it was the first calendar wristwatch to indicate, in addition to the date, the day of the week spelt out in full in an arc-shaped window at 12 o’clock on the dial – a technical feat at the time.

Made exclusively of precious metals – 18 ct yellow, white or Everose gold or 950 platinum – and accompanied by its emblematic President bracelet, its multiple dials make it the ideal canvas for self-expression.

THE DAY-DATE SPEAKS ITS WEARER’S LANGUAGE
Although the days may be the same wherever you are in the world, they are written differently depending on the language. Using most writing systems – Latin, Arabic, Cyrillic, Hebrew, Japanese, Chinese ideograms and even the Ge’ez alphasyllabary used in the Horn of Africa – the Day-Date expresses the cultural identity of its wearer. Available in a choice of 26 languages, it is a truly international, universal and personal watch.

THE MIRACLE OF MIDNIGHT: AN IDEAL OF PRECISION
When midnight strikes, the day and date simultaneously change in their respective windows on the dial. This watchmaking feat, the “miracle of midnight”, relies on a disc mechanism. It is the fruit of numerous years of research: from 1950 to 1955 Rolex registered four patents for timepieces featuring an indication of day and date.
Today, the Day-Date is equipped with a new-generation movement, calibre 3255, entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex for a superlative level of performance.

THE PRESIDENT BRACELET
Created specially for the launch of the prestigious Oyster Perpetual Day-Date in 1956, the three-piece link President bracelet, made only from 18 ct gold or 950 platinum, is still reserved exclusively for the Day-Date and precious metal versions of the Datejust.

A PRECIOUS ALLY
Worn by many of the world’s political figures, directors and visionaries, the Day-Date is instantly recognizable, in particular thanks to its emblematic President bracelet, whose evocative name, together with the eminent figures who have worn it, ensured the Day-Date became known as the “presidents’ watch”.

Decades come and go, but the Day-Date remains where it has always been – at the cutting edge of modernity. A timepiece of prestige and the fruit of Rolex's watchmaking expertise, the Day-Date accompanies those personalities who shape the world in their respective disciplines through their commitment, human qualities and creative genius.

THE MIRACLE OF MIDNIGHT: AN IDEAL OF PRECISION
Among the Rolex Testimonees associated with the Day-Date, the brand celebrates American skier Lindsey Vonn, Swiss tennis player Roger Federer, American filmmaker Martin Scorsese and golfers Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player.
